The Congress programme will consist of Keynote Addresses, Thematic Symposia, Poster Sessions, Research and Applied Workshops, and Scientific Debates.
Renowned experts in different areas have accepted the invitation to give one of the six keynote lectures on essential themes of the congress.
Parallel symposia will be organised in eight symposium units. Each symposium (90 minutes) shall relate to one specific topic in sport and exercise psychology. The focus may be of theoretical, methodological, or applied interest. Alternatively, symposia may also relate to a specific sport discipline. Several symposia regarding topics of high relevance for the field will be invited by the Organisers.
In conformity with FEPSAC's tradition, poster presentations shall remain the primary form of presentation and dissemination of scientific work. Six poster sessions will offer an outstanding forum for scientific exchange and discussions.
Workshops will involve active participation through interactive discussions, demonstrations, and/or experiential learning.
- Research workshops can include, but are not limited to, topics related to research methods, ethics in research, theory or measurement development, grant writing, mentoring in scientific writing, …
- Applied workshops offer opportunities for practitioners to share their professional practice strategies. Evidence-based practice workshops will be given priority.
Scientific discussions and debates on critical issues will be facilitated to further stimulate the advancement of new avenues in sport psychology.
